Gin
Gin can go in a lot of directions, including dry juniper bombs, citrus sippers, and herbal extravaganzas. Lodgepole Gin is soft on the palate with some sweetness from licorice root and a grounding presence from Orris and Angelica. There is boldness from the juniper and grains of paradise, and a lingering finish of lemon, sweet orange, and bitter orange.
Yuzu Flavored Gin
Yuzu is like lemon, but with the luscious profile turned up to 11. Beloved in many Japanese sweet and savory foods, Yuzu peel is infused into the Lodgepole Gin to create a unique cocktail gin as well as a warming sipper.
Strawberry Flavored Gin
Pacific Northwest Strawberries and strawberry juice are infused into the Lodgepole Gin to make a unique sipper and cocktail gin. Most who try it expect it to be sweet, but it’s a fairly dry gin. The strawberry fragrance really shines in sparkling cocktails. On its own, the Strawberry is softer than the Yuzu, and far more interesting than a typical “pink gin”.
Arboretum dry Gin
The ingredients for this gin include botanicals from the Washington Park Arboretum. Made in a London Dry style, this is perfect for a Gin and Tonic other adding a unique flair to other gin cocktails. One of the crown jewels of the PNW, the Washington Park Arboretum is home to a spectacular collection of plants from around the world. The Arboretum and the other areas operated by the UW Center for Urban Horticulture are tremendous local resources, and this gin is the result of an on-going partnership with the UW Center for Urban Horticulture. Each bottle sold includes a donation to the UW Botanic Gardens.
